Louis Kubik, 77, of 512 Tenth avenue SE, retired farmer who came to Cedar Raids from Center Point, died early Saturday after a brief illness. Born in Czechoslovakia Jan. 22, 1879, he was affiliated with Hus Memorial Presbyterian church.
Surviving are his wife, Antonette Kvetensky Kubik; a sister, Marie Kouba, and a brother, Joe Kubik, both of Walker.
Services: Barta-Hesser chapel at a time to be announced later. Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday.
