Mrs. Joseph Sramek.
Josephine Sramek, widow of Joseph Sramek, who had made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Belehrad, 1001 Oakland road NE, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 11:45 p.m. Sunday after a brief illness. Born in Czechoslovakia May 16, 1874, she had resided in Cedar Rapids 67 years.
Surviving are seven children, Joseph L., Adolph W., Paul L., Mrs. Belehrad and Mrs. Jesse Fauchier, all of Cedar Rapids, Frank W., of Arlington, Va., and Sister Mary Lois of the Franciscan Order of Aurora, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. John Jakoubek, of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Wencesalus church.
Services will be held in the Polansky chapel and at St. Wenceslaus church at a time to be announced later.
