CENTRAL CITY--Louise B. Sigmund, 88, widow of Jay Sigmund and a resident since 1938, died Sunday in a Cedar Rapids hospital.
She was born April 15, 1886, at Sterling, Ill. She was married in August of 1910 at Cedar Rapids. Surviving are a son, James Sigmund, Solon; two daughters, Mrs. L.D. Dickey, Marion and Mrs. William Copper, Central City; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. J.L. Lattimer of Dallas, Texas.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Murdoch chapel in Central City. Burial: Mt. Clark cemetery. The casket will not be opened after the service.
