Funeral of Mrs. Ellen Hoagland.
Yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock occurred the funeral of Mrs. Ellen Hoagland of Los Angeles, Cal. The services were held from the Baptist church, being conducted by the pastor, Rev. H.F. McDonald. Those who sang in the quartet were Mrs. Turner, Miss Gerkie and Messrs. John Booth and Fred Rowe, and who rendered some very appropriate selections. The Woman's Relief Corps attended the funeral in a body. The two sons of the deceased, Roy and Pearl of Los Angeles, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoagland of Davenport were among those present. The body was laid away in Oak Shade cemetery.
