Mrs. Russell Bean.
Clara Jane Bean, wife of Russell Bean, 324 Twenty-ninth street drive SE, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, died at her home at 5:05 a.m. Thursday following a long illness. Born in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 22, 1887, she was married on June 21, 1911, in Rock Island.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Harry L. Bean of Cedar Rapids and William Reynolds of Pomona, Calif.; a brother, John Thompson, in California; and a grandchild.
Mrs. Bean was a member of Westminster Presbyterian church.
Services will be conducted in the Beatty-Beurle chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by Dr. Andrew E. Kurth and the Rev. Arnold Marzolf, both of Westminster church. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m. Thursday.
