The Marion Register Wednesday June 9, 1897
MRS. CORA L. ROBINSON
After many months of suffering, relief at the hands of the death angel came to Mrs. Cora Robinson just before midnight on June 5th, 1897.
She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Remley and was born in Marion, Iowa, January 2nd, 1860. Her father having died in the service of his country when she was but two years of age she has experienced in a special way, the companship[sic] and constant care of a mother's love.
At the age of fifteen years she united with the First Baptist church of Marion and during her early life was an active worker. In 1878 she was married to George C. Robinson and to them was born one son, Frank. Her sister having died in 1872 those of the family now left are the mother, husband and son.
During the last few years, Mrs. Robinson has passed through great suffering, but in the midst of this experience there came to her a stronger faith in God and a deeper sense of His mercy and she greatly desired to live longer so as to express her faith in service.
To those whose hearts have been saddened most deeply by the suffering and death of this loved one, we pray that there may come the comfort of God's infinite mercy and love.
