Ethel V. Worthan, 84, of Seal Beach, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday in Hallmark Nursing Center, Anaheim, Calif., following a short illness.
Born March 16, 1905, at Cedar Rapids, she married Marion Worthan May 29, 1926, at Jesup. He died in 1981. Mrs. Worthan was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bruce; and a daughter, Deloris Gnagy, both of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Ted Brousard of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Golden Harford of Oelwein.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Linwood Cemetery, by the Rev. John Oren of St. James United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in Turner Chapel West.
