Former Marion Woman Dies in Cedar Rapids
Mrs. Florence Jellison Crispin, wife of Frank Crispen[sic] of Cedar Rapids, died at 4:30 a.m. yesterday a long illness. She was born in Marion and grew to womanhood here and was educated in the Marion schools. She leaves beside her husband, one son, Glen White, ate home, one son, Barta having preceded her in death six years ago, and one sister, Mrs. Clara Johnson of Ottumwa who died a year ago last April. She also leaves a mother, Mrs. Julia Jellison who lived with her and two brothers, Ernest Jellison, Cedar Rapids, and Harry of Walker. Mrs. Crispen joined the Christian church when a girl and was a faithful worker all her life.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pingrey chapel Friday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Samuel Noah will be in charge and burial will be made on the family lot in Oak Shade.
