Rites Saturday for W. Roland Fowler
W. Roland Fowler, 63, a lifelong resident of Marion, died Tuesday afternoon in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He resided at 1052 Fourth street.
Born July 18, 1899, in Marion, he was married to Letha Schnepp in Cedar Rapids May 24, 1921. He was a city employe for many years.
Survivors are: His wife, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Stark of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. Dean Johnson of Marion; and five grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at Murdoch chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. William A. McKee. Burial: Oak Shade. Friends may call at the chapel.
