Anna Mordorst, 77, 1234 4th St., Marion, passed away at 3:45 a.m., Monday, July 25, at a Marion nursing home. She was born the daughter of Henry and Mary Koffron Mordorst on March 19, 1889 on a farm north of Marion. Her entire life was spent in this vicinity.
Surviving are a brother, Jack A. Mordorst of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Wes (Dora) Dennis and Mrs. Harry (Mary) Schriner, both of Marion and a nephew, Jack D. Mordorst of Marion. A sister, Margia Mordorst passed away July 21, 1966, another sister, Emma in 1905 and a brother Will in 1936.
Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday July 27, at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion by the Rev. Clyde Scott of Springville. Burial in Oak Shade cemetery.
