Mina A.[sic] Kline Funeral Sunday
Mina E. Kline, 82, a former Marion resident, died at 8:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11 at a Des Moines nursing home following a long illness.
She was born at Lamont, Iowa on Feb. 7, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Silker. She was married on July 8, 1893 to Harrison P. Kline and they moved to Marion in 1907. Following Mr. Kline's retirement about three years ago they moved to Davenport where Mr. Kline died on Sept. 8, 1949. She later moved to Des Moines.
Mrs. Kline was a member of the Marion Methodist church. She is survived by two sons; Elbert Kline of Des Moines and Alvin Kline of Davenport and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Yocom-Murdoch chapel by the Rev. James P. Gable and burial was in Oak Shade cemetery. Bearers were L.O. Dickey, Floyd Robson, John Johnson and Lee Voorhies.
