Warren Chambers Mundy, 48, of 56 Summer Circle NE, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10 a.m. Friday. Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, by the Rev. Roger Altenberger. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, with military rites.
Graveside military rites will be conducted by Marion American Legion Post 298.
Survivors include his wife, four children, three sisters and two brothers {names omitted for privacy}; and two granddaughters.
Warren was born the son of Warren P. and Mary V. Cole Mundy on June 5, 1952, in Cedar Rapids and was married there on Aug. 24, 1991, to {private} Fink. Warren served in the Army during the Vietnam era. He was employed as an assembler at Amana Refrigeration. Warren loved to play bingo and go fishing.
