Mrs. Petrusch Dies; Last Rites Thursday
Mrs. Anna M. Petrusch, 75, of 2461 Fifth avenue, Marion, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a brief illness.
Born Jan. 30, 1874, in Germany, she as married to Albert Emil Petrusch there on May 10, 1895. They came to the United States April 11, 1898, and lived in Oxford Junction and Morley before moving to Marion 45 years ago. Mrs. Petrusch died Dec. 25, 1946.
Mrs. Petrusch was a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran church and of the Milwaukee Women's club. Surviving are four daughters, the Misses Amelia and Emma Louise Petrusch of Marion and Mrs. Marianne McHugh and Mrs. Bernice Forde of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Albert, Eitel and Arthur Petrusch, all of Marion; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Claus J. Mohr of Forbes, N.D., and a sister, Mrs. John Hansen of Oakes, N.D.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Yocom chapel by the Rev. E.W. Wuggazer, pastor of Bethany Lutheran church in Cedar Rapids. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
