Eitel F. "Ike" Petrusch, 83, of 2418 Franklin Ave. NE. died Tuesday morning in University Hospitals, Iowa City, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Washington County July 29.
Born Feb. 17, 1906, at Marion, he married Nettie Anne Brown April 22, 1939, at Dubuque. She died July 29. Mr. Petrusch worked for Allis-Chalmers before retiring in 1967 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Marion, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 2272 and The Salvation Army Association.
Survivors include three daughters {private}; a brother, Albert of Marion; three sisters, Emma Petrusch and Mary Ann McHugh, both of Cedar Rapids, and Bernice Forde of Lowden; four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Murdoch Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. James Edwards of First Presbyterian Church, Winfield. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call after 6:30 tonight in the chapel. A memorial fund has been established.
