Funeral services for W.H. Van Norman were held at 2:30 p.m. today at the home, 2880 East Eighth avenue and were conducted by the Rev. Harry G. Finney. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery.
Mr. Van Norman was born at Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Feb. 23, 1857, and died March 20, 1919, at the age of 63 years, 26 days. He came to Iowa in 1881 and followed the plumbing trade. On Nov. 19, 1881, he was married to Miss Effie Rose, who survives him, as well as three children, Mrs. Everett Rose and Mrs. John Frasier of Marion, and Mrs. John Ralston of Monticello. He also leaves two sisters in New York.
