Vivian D. Pickrel, 51, of 755 22nd St., a resident of Marion since 1967 and formerly of Boone, died June 10 in a Cedar Rapids hospital. She was born the daughter Harry and Eva Mooney Green on July 13, 1922 at Adair County, Iowa. In 1946 in Missouri, she was married to Bernard W. Pickrel. Mrs. Pickrel was a member of the Grace Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Patricia Ann Pickrel with the U.S. Navy in Hawaii; a son, Keene Pickrel of Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Elmo (Mildred) Bonus of Creston and Mrs. Nellie Brown of Mt. Ayr; three brothers, Arthur Green of Creston, Junior Green of Council Bluffs and Dallas Green of Glenwood. She was preceded in dath by two sisters and three brothers.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at the Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Don R. Martin. Interments: Oak Shade cemetery in Marion.
