Clinton T. Wilson Died on Monday
Clinton T. Wilson passed away at 12:40 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28, at his home 1055 4th ave., Marion.
The son of Thomas and Lois Greenlee Wilson, he was born March 26, 1874, at Bainbridge, Ohio. On Sept. 3, 1899, he was married at Osceola to Miss Jessie G. Cook. They lived in Osceola, Los Angeles, and Ogden, Utah before moving to Marion in 1941.
Mr. Wilson was a carpenter and building contractor before his retirement. He was a member of the Marion Christian church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughters: Mrs. Tom (Ethel) Northrup, Los Angeles, and two sons: Gerald C., Marion and Clarence H. Wilson, Los Angeles; three grandchildren: June Cowley, Los Angeles, Sharon L. Landis, and Jeananne Wilson, both of Marion. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Murdoch chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Herbert Kohl, pastor of the Marion Christian church. Interment will be in Oak Shade cemetery. The family requests that in place of flowers the friends contribute to the heart fund.
