Ethel B. Jones Hunsaker, 91, of 2595 Fifth Ave., Marion, died of apparent heart failure Monday night in Mercy Medical Center.
Born Sept. 6, 1898, at Shelby County, Mo., she married Homer Hunsaker March 8, 1916. He died in 1970. The couple, formerly of Bethel, Mo., had resided at Marion since 1943. Mrs. Hunsaker was an assembly worker for Collins Radio during World War II. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Marion, Mary Circle, Quilters Club, WRC and a charter member of Marion Senior Citizens Center, where she was a longtime volunteer.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Grant of Marion; two sisters, Mary Bauerrichter of Marion and Virginia Hill of Springfield, MO.; a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Murdoch Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Clair Odell. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today in the chapel. A memorial fund has been established.
