Claud E. Kuebler, 64, of 1011 Third Ave., and a resident of Marion for the past 34 years, died at his home July 14. He was born Dec. 3, 1909 at Madison, S.D. and was reared in the home of John and Rose Strine Kuebler. On March 22, 1933 at Manchester he was married to Ada Oakley. Mr. Kuebler served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a machinist and inspector at Allis CHalmers Co. for 28 years. He was a member American Legion Post. No. 298, and Local 1316 of the U.A.W. at Allis Chalmers.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Joyce) Bolsinger of Marion; a son, Harold Kuebler of Altamont, Ill.; five grandchildren; one brother, Clinton Kuebler of Chicago, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Brooks of Manchester. He was preceded in death by two brothers, an infant brother and a brother, Lyle.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. July 17 at the Murdoch chapel in Marion, conducted by the Rev. Gene Crossett, Jr. Interment was in Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion with military services by American Legion Post No. 298.
