Samuel Nevius Dies, Formerly of Marion
ALEDO, ILL.--Samuel G. Nevius, 80, an Aledo resident about 20 years and a former cafe operator in Marion, died unexpectedly Thursday.
Born Sept. 3, 1894, in Rariton[sic], Ill., he and the former Beulah Marshall were married in Monmouth, Ill., June 10, 1915.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kenneth, Marion; two grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a brother, Roy, Monmouth, and a sister, Mary Goliday, Enterprise, Ala.
Services: Saturday at 1, First Baptist church, Aledo. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery, Marion. Reiser funeral home, Aledo, is in charge.
