Henry W. Perrin Called by Death Tuesday Morning

Funeral services were held at 10:30 this (Thursday) morning for Henry W. Perrin, 70 years old, who died Tuesday morning in St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids. Rev. John Walters of the Methodist church officiated and services at the grave in Oak Shade cemetery were in charge of Marion lodge No. 6, A.F. and A.M.
Mr. Perrin had been seriously ill since Feb. 1. For 32 years he was employed as a solicitor for the Cedar Rapids Republican, and for the last four years he was a bond salesman for the Iowa Railway & Light company.
Born at Owensburg, Ind., Feb. 1, 1862, Henry Woodle Perrin as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sibble Perrin. Dec. 20, 1883, he was married to Hattie W. Peck at Yock, Nebr. To them were born three sons, Harve, who died April 8, 1928, and Theodore S. and Henry R., both of whom live in California.
He was a member of Marion lodge No. 6, A.F. and A.M. and Marion chapter No. 10, R.A.M., and of Patmos Commandery No. 27, Knights Templar.
Mr. Perrin is survived by his widow, two sons, one sister, Mrs. Mary Fields, of Indianapolis, Ind., and two brothers, Matt Perrin of Evansville, Ind., and John Perrin of Bloomfield, Ind. He also had several grandchildren and a host of friends who loved him for his many fine qualities and who join with his relatives in mourning his death.
