Mrs. H.G. White Died Last Friday; Burial on Sunday

Burial and funeral services for Mrs. Henry G. White, who passed away at 313 Sixth avenue last Friday, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. Services were held at the Yocom chapel with the Rev. W.C. Perdew officiating and interment made at Oak Shade cemetery.
Mrs. White was born May 21, 1854, at Dixon, Scott county, Iowa. She was one of eleven children born to William and Sarah Lovell and spent her early life at that place. She was married to Henry G. White of Marion at Calamus, Dec. 25, 1873 and for the last fifty-four years they have made their home in this city. Three children were born to them: William White, Ernest R. and Alice Busby.
The deceased was a member of the Methodist church and shared in a great deal of the church's activities until her health failed a few years ago. She was president of the Ladies Aid society for a number of years.
Those left to survive her are her husband, three children, one granddaughter, Marian Busby of Marion; two brothers, M.W. Lovell of Las Animas, Colo., and D.J. Lovell of Coon Rapids, one sister, Mrs. Eliza Bolen of Fort Dodge, and a foster granddaughter Lucille Barber.
