Howard F. "Bud" Howe, 74, of 410 12th St., died Friday, April 7, 2000, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, from complications of a stroke. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, by the Rev. Stan Wierson. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors, include his wife, Joanne, {omitted for privacy}
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Patricia Lister and Ava Howe.
Bud was born April 22, 1925, the son of Harold and Frances Snyder Howe in Anamosa, Iowa. On April 25, 1948, he was united in marriage to Joanne Crew in Ames. For 35 years he was employed at Rockwell-Collins. Bud was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of the Marion American Legion Post 298. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion....
