George A. Kindler Died Tuesday
George A. Kindler, 65, passed away at 8:20 P.M. Tuesday at his home 330 5th Ave. after a brief illness.
Kindler was born February 10, 1884 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Albert G. and Emma Wright Kindler. He moved to Marion when he was two years old and has lived here ever since. He was a Railway Mail clerk. He was married June 25, 1914 at Savanna, Illinois to Miss Laura Logan who passed away at Iowa City on Oct. 7, 1942.
He was a member of the Marion Methodist Church, Marion Lodge No. 6, A.F. and A.M., Marion chapter No. 10, R.A.M. and Marion Chapter No. 183, O.E.S., and Railway Mail Clerks, Assn.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nina Straubinger, Marion, a niece Mrs. Alberta Marsh and a nephew George Straubinger, both of Marion.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the Yocom-Murdoch Chapel by Rev. James P. Gable. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park.
