Nettie Miller Hough, 600 First avenue NE, died in a Cedar Rapids nursing home at 6 a.m. Sunday after a lingering illness. Born Jan. 25, 1870, in Clarksville, Ia., she had been a resident of Cedar Rapids for the last 50 years. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. A.R. Jones, near Marion; three sons, Ray and Pierre, both of Los Angeles, and Frank Hough of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Miller and Mrs. Mae Kendall, both of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Moen chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the chapel.
