Samuel F. Hough.
Samuel Frank Hough, 318 First street SW, a brick mason for the last 54 years and a resident of Cedar Rapids for the past 60 years, died in a Cedar Rapids nursing home Sunday following a brief illness. He was born on a farm near Mendota, Ill., and came to Iowa in a covered wagon when 3 years old.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ray Jones of Marion, Ia., three sons, Pierre and Ray of Los Angeles and Frank of Cedar Rapids, one brother, Charles of Sioux City, several nieces and nephews and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. H.K. Galloway, pastor of the Grande Avenue Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Shiloh cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
