Mrs. Clifford H. Swanger, 381 Fifteenth street SE, a Cedar Rapids resident 25 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 11:05 a.m. Saturday following a brief illness.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Thurston Alexander of Abingdon, Ill.; her mother Mrs. Sarah Van de Venter of Kellogg; three sisters, Mrs. Verne Gray and Mrs. Otto Steinberger, both of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Ray Bell of Kellogg, and two grandchildren.
Born June 25, 1900, at Kellogg, Mrs. Swanger was a member of the Christian church, Cedar chapter of O.E.S. and the ladies auxiliary of the B. of R.T.
Services will be conducted in Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m. Sunday.
