Kimball Emmons Dies; Lifelong Linn Resident
Kimball R. Emmons, 67, a lifelong resident of Linn county, died at 7 a.m. Friday at his home, 1133 Tenth street, Marion. He was an invalid for many years. Born Nov. 29, 1881, on a farm six miles southeast of Marion, he had lived in Marion 40 years. Surviving are two brothers, J.B. Emmons of Marion and Clifford H. Emmons of College Place, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Adams and Mrs. Lois Reimers, both of Marion.
Services will be conducted at the Yocom chapel at a time to be announced later. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
