Services Held on Monday Afternoon for Mrs. Mary Lint
Life's fitful fever is over for Mary Ellen Lint, who died at her Marion home, 1392 First avenue, at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15.
She was born January 4, 1861, at Richmond Center, Wis., and came here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Lint in 1866. She was married to Emanuel Lint at Shellsburg, January 2, 1877, deceased, and is survived by four daughters and three sons--Mrs. Katherine Kemp, Mrs. Cora Postel and Mrs. Sylvia Ozburn of Marion, Mrs. Ina Atkinson of Cedar Rapids, and Curtis, Dewey and Arthur Lint of Marion; also by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; also by Mrs. Robert Marwell, of Cedar Rapids, a sister, and by John Lint of Fayette, a brother. She was connected with the Christian church.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Yocom chapel, in charge of the Rev. Vernon H. Carter, Christian minister and Mrs. LaVerna Crew and Mrs. V.H. Carter assisting with music. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
