E. Laurine Clark, 84, of 380 Coral Dr., Hiawatha, died early Wednesday morning in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born Sept. 19, 1905, in Marion, she married Ted Clark Aug. 20, 1927. He died in 1970. She was a graduate of Cedar Rapids Business College. Mrs. Clark was a secretary for Whipple-Winterberg Insurance Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saintes in Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Birky of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Friday, Murdoch Chapel, Marion, by elders Lew Howard and Roger Reid. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after noon Friday in the chapel. A memorial fund has been established.
