Hazel K. Snell, 91, of Concord, Mass., and a resident of Marion for most of her life, died Saturday in Concord.
A longtime Marion teacher, she was principal of Emerson elementary school for many years and retired as curriculum coordinator for the Marion Independent school district in 1965. She was married to Edward M. Snell in 1919. Mr. Snell died in 1930.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. H.W. Norman of Albany, Ga.; two sons, J. Kirk Snell of Waynesboro, Va., and Dr. John E. Snell of Needham, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Lovel Hadwen of Albany, Ga.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Marion at a later date.
