Death of J.J. Timson
J.J. Timson passed away Wednesday evening at nine o'clock at the University hospital, Iowa City, where he was taken just a week before for treatment when he became seriously ill. Mrs. Timson had been in poor health several months and unable to work and spent some time in the hospital last summer, and seemed to be helped by the treatments. His last illness however, was regarded as critical from the first.
Mr. Timson, best known as Jack, in an old employee of the Milwaukee railroad, remaining in the company's service until ill health made it impossible for him to work. He was among the converts during the Harper meeting two years ago, uniting with the Christian church, of which he has been a faithful member. He was ann officer in the Bible school and was president of the [can't read] Men's Gospel team [the rest is unreadable]
