Former Marion Girl Died in California; Services Saturday
Word has reached Marion of the sudden death last Friday at Los Angeles, Calif., of Mrs. Harry Pinch, the former Josephine Nebendahl of Marion. Death came in some sort of street car accident, but the details will not likely be known here until the arrival of the funeral party Friday.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at ten o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church in Marion.
Mr. and Mrs. Pinch and family moved to the coast two years ago where the husband has been employed in a war plant. Mrs. Pinch, who will be remembered here as a young woman of great energy, was also employed.
Mrs. Pinch was the daughter of Mrs. Henry Nebendahl, 1630 Eleventh street. She was born in Cedar Rapids March 19, 1919, and was married to Harry Pinch at Manchester, February 9, 1934. Two children survive her: Harry, jr., and Shirley. She is also survived by four sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Alice Bizulis, Mrs. Helen McNulty and Mrs. Dorothy Lovell of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Agnes Ratliff, of San Diego, Calif.; Corp. Victor Nebendahl, overseas; Wesley Nebendahl, Tracy, Calif.; and Pvt. Carl Nebendahl, of Camp Mackall, N.C.
Mr. Pinch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.O. Pinch, 900 Central avenue.
