Mabel B. Pinch, 90, formerly of 900 Central Ave., Marion, and a recent resident of Willow Gardens Care Center, died Saturday evening at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness.
Born Aug. 19, 1891, in Jones County, she married Richard O. Pinch on Sept. 7, 1909, at Marion. He died in 1965. She moved to the care center this month. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marion.
Survivors include four sons, Leo of Vancouver, Wash., Harry of Omaha, Ark., Richard of Yucca Valley, Calif., and Roy of Glendale, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Max Davis of Marion and Ruth Tharp of Anamosa; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion by the Rev. Dick Watkins of First United Methodist Church in Marion. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
