Funeral Services Held Saturday for Mrs. Mary A. Strege
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Strege, who made her home in Marion from 1917 to 1929, and who died November 21 at the home of a niece, Mrs. Grace Marshall at Providence, R.I., after a week's illness, were held Saturday afternoon from the Yocom chapel with the Rev. Irving E. Wade, pastor of the Christian church in charge of the services. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery.
She was born December 25, 1879 at Coventry, R.I., the daughter of Henry and Katherine Murray. She was twice married, her first husband dying in 1919, and her second, August F. Strege in 1936. She is survived also by a brother, Edward Murray of Hoxie, R.I. After leaving Marion her home had been in Riverside, R.I.
