Mrs. Bigger Dies.
Pearl Scott Bigger, 75, of 845 Fourteenth street, Marion, died Monday at 1:15 a.m. at her home following a brief illness.
Born Nov. 11, 1879, in Linn county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scott, she had resided in this vicinity all her life. She was a member of the Marion Methodist church and Esther circle of the WSCS.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frank Lawrence, and Mrs. Frank Fox, of Joilet, Ill.; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lila Ives, of Marion, with whom Mrs. Bigger made her home, and four brothers, Jess, of Cedar Rapids, Lester and Thomas, of Marion, and Gerald Scott of Mt. Vernon.
Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Murdoch chapel by the Rev. James P. Gable. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
