Mrs. A.A. Reiszner passed away, Tuesday afternoon at 3:30, following an illness which had confined her to bed for several weeks. Her death was due to a cancer, but through her long sickness she was ever patient and cheerful. About three weeks ago her children all came home and their presence was a great comfort to her.
She was born and reared in the Amana colonies, her maiden name being Magdalena Jeck, and of her father's family only one sister, Miss Louisa Jeck, survives and is still a member of the Amana society. Mrs. Reiszner was fifty-six years of age. She was united in marriage on September 3, 1883 to A.A. Reiszner, who survives, with the three children, Inez, wife of Nelson Conger and Herbert, both of Lamora, La., and Otto of LaCompte, La.
Mrs. Reiszner was a member of Marion chapter, O.E.S. She was a woman devoted chiefly to her home, but a charitable friend and neighbor. The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the home, 1020 Seventeenth street. The Rev. H.G. Finney of the Presbyterian church will conduct the services.
