Albert O. Edwards, 71, Cedar Rapids and Marion resident for many years until moving to California in 1943, died in National City, Calif., Saturday. Born Jan. 1, 1889, in Rochester, Ia., he was married in Cedar Rapids to Bertha G. Williams Nov. 6, 1912. He was a retired painter.
Surviving are his wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Jane E. Bramlett, Gweneth A. Edwards and Gayle E. Wagner, all in California; 2 sons, Lloyd A., of Alburnett and Clinton R., of Ottumwa, and 11 grandchildren.
Services: Beatty-Beurle's at 1:30 Thursday. Burial: Oak Shade, Marion. The body will arrive in Cedar Rapids Thursday.
