Graveside Rites for Bertha Edwards, 71
Bertha G. Edwards, 71, a former Marion resident and a resident of National City, Calif., for the last 25 years, died Monday at her home in National City. She was born May 15, 1896, at What Cheer. On Nov. 6, 1912 at Cedar Rapids, she was married to Albert O. Edwards. Mr. Edwards died in April of 1960.
Surviving are two sons. Lloyd A. Edwards of Alburnett and Clinton R. Edwards of Winchester, Va.; two daughter[sic], Mrs. Robert Bramlett of National City, Calif., and Gweneth A. Edwards of San Diego, Calif., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Albert Guggadahl of Des Moines.
Graveside services Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Oak Shade cemetery, Marion by the Rev. Joseph Ricks. Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel after 7 p.m. Friday.
