Michel Rites To Be Held Thursday PM
Mrs. Charles B.F. Michel passed away at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 1958 at her home one mile northwest of Marion on the Alburnett road.
Born Ella Arvilla Crosley, daughter of Moses and Nancy Arvilla Potter Crosley at Farina, Ill., on March 25, 1885, she moved to Wisconsin when she was eight years old and attended Milton college at Milton, Wis. She was married at Albion, Wis., on August 10, 1904 to Mr. Michel. Since her marriage she has been a resident of a farm northwest of Marion.
Mrs. Michel was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church at Milton, Wis., and of the Community and Garden clubs.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, George E. Michel, Marion, a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Mary) Stevens, Viroqua, Wis., six grandchildren, Gene, Elsabeth and Denis Miche, Kenneth, Kathryn and Richard Stevens; two great grandchildren Denise and Amy Michel, and a sister, Mrs. Carl (Pearl) Sheldon, Edgerton, Wis. A brother, Dr. George E. Crosley preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 at the Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Elmo Randolph, Milton, Wis., and Rev. Allen Bond, Marion. Interment will be on the family lot in Oak Shade cemetery.
