Elizabeth M. Wiltsey, 83, of the Bickford Cottage, Marion, died there Friday, May 21, 2004, following an extended illness. At her request, there will be no public visitation or services. A private burial will be held. Arrangements by Baxter Funeral Chapel, Marion.
Survivors include a sister, Marilyn Shefelbine of Marion.
Also surviving are nieces {private}; and a sister-in-law, Wilma Harden of Golftown, N.H.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Harden; a niece, Carey Hall; a nephew, Dwight Harden; and a brother-in-law, Silas Shefelbine.
Elizabeth was born March 23, 1921, in Marion, the daughter of Peter and Hazel Reynolds Harden. She married George Wiltsey on Oct. 14, 1941, in West Burlington. He died Jan. 7, 1979. Elizabeth worked for Bjornsen Construction, cleaning condos and apartments. Elizabeth loved to spend her time doing needlepoint, knitting and crocheting.
A memorial fund has been established.
