Mrs. Nancy Caroline Torrence, for 62 years a resident of this city, died at her hom, 567 South Tenth street, at 10:22 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Torrence was born near Nashville, Tenn., Nov. 6, 1859. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. H. Cockfield of Davenport; and two sons, Olin S. of Spokane, Wash., and I.J. Torrence of this city. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Susan Hatfield of Moberly, Mo., and Mrs. J.C. Hadson of Clinton, besides three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Turner chapel at a time to be announced later.
