Wesley Todd, 79, a lifelong resident of Toddville, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, April 21, following a sudden illness. Born April 1, 1870 at Toddville he was married to Ida Jane Reed on Dec. 12, 1893 at Toddville. Surviving in addition to his his widow are a son, Leland Todd of Cedar Rapids two sisters, Mrs. Walter Van Note of Robins, Mrs. Clara Oliphant of Toddville, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services were conducted in the Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. W.C. Wilson of Todville officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh cemetery.
