Charles E. Tisher, 1012 Second street SE, has received word of the death Monday of a brother, Jacob Carl Tisher, Cedar Rapids resident before moving to San Diego many years ago. Son of Charles A. and Melissa Black Tisher, Linn county pioneer residents, he was born in Cedar Rapids April 5, 1877.
Services will be conducted in San Diego. The ashes will be returned to Cedar Rapids for burial in Shiloh cemetery.
Survivors, besides his brother, are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Ingersoll of San Diego; a grandson; a half-brother, Jess Hein of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Grace Burgess, and several aunts and uncles in Cedar Rapids.
