Mary W. Mozeney, 88, a former resident, died Saturday at Corpus Christi, Texas, where she had lived since 1950.
Born Jan. 29, 1875, near Old Carrollton, Ia., she was married to Phillip S. Mozeney Oct. 24, 1894. Mr. Mozeney died Dec. 11, 1954. The Mozeneys lived at Louisa for 33 years. He was a Milwaukee railroad station agent and telegrapher on the Iowa division. Mrs. Mozeney was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Russell P. Mozeney of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Basom of Carroll, and Odie J. Basom of Nisland, S.D.; and three sisters, Maude Le Allen of Mansfield, Mo., Media Wycoff of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Faye Kelsey of Dawson, Iowa.
Services: Wednesday at 4 in the Murdoch chapel by Bill J. Humble of the Church of Christ. Burial: Shiloh. Friends may call at the chapel after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
