Thurs. Feb. 20, 1947 Marion Sentinel:
Services for Mrs. Karl F. Morris, 67, of near Center Point who died in a Cedar Rapids hospital Monday, were held in Turner chapel Wednesday after noon. Burial was in Shiloh cemetery. She was the former Anna Arletta Smith, born July 1, 1879. She was a teacher at the Adams school in Cedar Rapids for 14 years until she was married to Karl F. Morris in 1917. She is survived by two daughters, Ruth M. Koop of Center Point and Ruby Morris of Cedar Rapids, two sons Paul F. Morris of Center Point and Glenn B. Morris of Cedar Rapids and two grand children.
