Cedar Rapids Gazette Tuesday March 10, 1970
Helen Clare Roche Morling, widow of William Morling, and a former resident of Cedar Rapids, died at Ames Monday. She was born Jan. 30, 1891, in Cedar Rapids, and was graduated from Coe college in 1916 and received her master's from Iowa State college at Ames in 1928.
Mrs. Morling was a member of Collegiate United Methodist church at Ames, Esther Chapter HJ OES at Emmestburg, National and State Economics Assn., and Epsilon Sigma Phi National honorary extension fraternity.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hans Uhling of New Towne, Pa., and Mrs. Richard Dyer of Kinsport, Tenn., and six grandchildren.
Memorial services: Graveside in Shiloh cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Thursday by Dr. Glenn W. McMichael of St. Paul's United Methodist church, Turner chapel east is in charge of services.
The casket will not be opened at any time.
