A former Cedar Rapids resident, Emma Kern, 91, widow of Frank Kern, died Saturday in a Marengo hospital.
She was born March 30, 1882, in Iowa, and was a member of the Lutheran church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schulze, of Denver, Colo.
Services: Pending at Turner chapel west. Burial: Shiloh cemetery.
