Wilson D. Booze, the 21-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Booze, of 1240 Sixth avenue, died Sunday evening at St. Luke's hospital following a brief illness.
He graduated from Marion high school last spring, and since has been employed at a Cedar Rapids filling station. He was born on a farm in Monroe township, July 16, 1917, the son of W.H. and Ruth Hutton Booze, who survive, together with his two sisters, Mary and Lois, at home, and by his two grandmothers, Mrs. Percy Hutton and Mrs. A.D. Booze. He was a member of the M.E. church. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Yocom chapel, with the Rev. E.T. Gough in charge of the services. Burial was made in the Shiloh cemetery.
