Harry N. Martin, 87, a retired farmer, died Saturday night at Mt. Morris, Ill. Born in Linn county Jan. 3, 1873, he was married to Mary Baer at Tipton Jan. 19, 1898. The couple farmed northwest of Marion for a number of years and moved to Illinois 2 1/2 years ago. Mr. Martin was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Robins. Surviving are his wife; 2 sons, Robert, of Mt. Morris, and Ralph F., of Cedar Rapids; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services: Murdoch chapel, Marion, Tuesday at 3:30 by the Rev. Carl Meyers of Mt. Morris. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 1:30 Tuesday.
